We all get annoyed about certain things. Here are some of the little things in life that annoy me… Things that spring to mind are:
- pedestrians in the UK walking on any side of the pavement and not left…
- workmen putting drain covers back with the tiling layout on top (if present) on purpose the opposite way to the surrounding paving…

- calling 118118 (one of the new pathetic directory enquire services in the UK) and they have no idea what you are after since they are based in India.
- DVD wrappers that do not want to come off easily - same for CD wrappers…
- heating a cheap microwave meal and then the plastic always tears in strips when you try and take it off… only happens with cheap meals mind and never with anything from Tesco or Sainsbury’s more expensive "exclusive" ranges…
- People changing their mobile phone ringtones in public spaces… For some reason they always need to listen to ALL the tunes at TOP volume! And these polyphonic tones are just marvelous aren’t they?
- Speaking of which: why can’t new mobile phones have a choice of good old fashioned ringtones anymore?
- People driving whilst talking on a mobile phone AND smoking!
- Bus drivers that can’t brake evenly and always have to brake as late as possible and as hard as possible to fling everyone around inside the bus.
